General Information from the GB Crew Board

• Our next General Membership meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10, at 7pm (Location TBD). 
• Novice Parent Meeting.  TBD (we are leaning toward Wednesday August 27th)
• Rowers Schedule:  
1. Next Week - Varsity Only all week.
2. September 2nd, Tuesday - First Day of Juniper rowing ...Varsity Girls and All Novice rowers.  Commence every other day water practice.
3. September 3rd, Wednesday - First Day of Juniper rowing ...Varsity Boys.  Commence every other day water practice.

ENews:  August 23rd, 2008.

• The fall Practice Parent Schedule is posted on the Practice Parent webpage.  Please sign up with Sarah Lauric ...we will need you to do more this year since we have less rowers this year.
• Novice Parent Meeting.  TBD.  At this meeting the board will go over the budget and parent requirements for the coming year.   We are working hard to get it schedule this week ...leaning toward August 27th.
• For all Parents.  We will email the parent contract by Wednesday, August 27th ...it will include dues amount and payment schedule based on the approved budget voted on in July.
• Coach has posted to our crew calendar the relevant school calendar events including SAT dates.

• The rowers are having a party to start the new year ...see the calendar for details and date/time.
• Regattas Chair.  Many thanks to Tamara Williams for taking this on. 
• Practice Parent Chairs.  Many thanks to Sarrah and John Lauric for volunteering to lead our practice parent program.  Please thank the Laurics when you get a chance.  Also, please make their job easy ...step up to the plate and do as much practice parenting as you can.
• Fundraising.  A full slate of fundraising has been schedule through the 1st week of October ...please see the calendar for dates and times and who is working each event.
• The new calendar is up ...please click on any event listed for more information.  If you are a Google calendar user you can add GB Crew's to your own calendar ...I do it and it works great. Please email me if you'd like to do this.
• General Membership meetings will be monthly and are scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month.  Next meeting is Wednesday, September 10th at 7pm, location TBD..
