
Great Bridge Crew Coaches
Head Coach: Bryan Stambaugh (pictured to the left and below) has been coaching Great Bridge Crew since its inception 11 years ago. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia where he rowed 2 years.

Assistant Coaches:

Coach Amy Hansen began rowing 25 years ago in high school up in East Lyme, CT and then continued at Florida Tech in Melbourne, FL. She has been rowing with Juniper Rowing Club in Chesapeake as both a sculler and sweep rower since it was established in 2002. She is currently the Varsity Girls' Coach and an Oceanography teacher at Bishop Sullivan Catholic HS.

Coach Matt Moreau is a graduate of Great Bridge High and rowed for Great Bridge from 2001-2005. During his time at GBCrew he was a Regional Champion in 2003, 2004 and 2005; only a canceled race in 2002 kept him from getting his fourth regional title. He placed 5th at the Stotesbury Cup in 2005 with the Men's LW8. Coach Moreau was a full scholarship rower at Marist College from 2005-2009. He had a very successful college rowing career: Presiden't Cup 2005-2005; undefeated in the MAAC Conference, Cup Champion 2005-2009, and NY State Champion MV4 2008. Coach Moreau graduated from Marist in 2009 with a B.S in Digital Media and a Double Minor in Studio Art, Photography.

Coach Natalie Higgins (second from the left) stroke seat GB Varsity four. Coach Higgins graduated from Great Bridge High School in 2007 and was a four year rower for GBCrew. Coach Higgins was a Regional Champion in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Coach Higgins rowed for Old Dominion for one year and is currently GBCrew women's novice coach.
