2026 Novice
SUMMER CAMP

Great Bridge Crew Club is proud to host two opportunities each summer for rising 8th–12th grade students interested in exploring the sport of rowing and discovering what it means to be part of a crew team.

Whether you’re brand new to the water or simply curious about the sport, our summer Novice Camp is designed to introduce athletes to rowing in a fun, supportive, and team-driven environment — no experience necessary.

CAMP SESSIONS

Session One

June 22–26
5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Session Two

 July 13–17
5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Registration Fee

$250 per week
(Payable via Venmo or Zelle)

Sessions run Monday–Friday, three hours each day.

What to Expect

All participants are classified as novice rowers and will learn the foundations of the sport through a combination of:

  • Land training and technique instruction

  • Water rowing sessions

  • Equipment orientation and boat safety

  • Team building and conditioning

Campers will work directly with our legendary coaching staff, who have been training some of the country’s top student-athletes since 1999.

Campers should come prepared each day with:

Required Attire

  • White t-shirt (tech/breathable recommended)

  • Black fitted spandex/bike shorts (No baggy or loose clothing for safety)

  • Socks

  • Sneakers suitable for heavy wear (may get wet/dirty)

  • Refillable water bottle


And of course — a great attitude!


All campers must submit a US Rowing Release of Liability upon registration.
